ASSUMPTIONS
Our code assumes that you have a recent version of Solcase. Some commands like &Grid and proval are not supported in earlier versions of Solcase. Upgrades are free as part of your support and maintenance agreement so check with Lexis Nexis Visualfiles on 0113 226 2020 if you think yours is out of date. Version 7.2 of Solcase is now available with an improved (and coloured) script editor. Please note there are a few issues with some versions of the new editor. If your script stops working properly try switching off the editor in the system set-up screen (via solutil) and edit and resave the script. We like the coloured editor for writing new scripts or debugging but find it painfully slow to open existing scripts. My advice: switch it on if you are creating a number of new scripts but otherwise leave it switched off.
