RICHARD ARNEY

A qualified Solicitor, Richard spent 12 years in private practice in Birmingham before joining Solicitec in 1996. Richard was a partner at Sydney Mitchell and specialised in RTA personal injury claims. Richard also had overall responsibility for developing and maintaining the firm's SolCase case management system.

Richard joined the board of Solicitec (now called LexisNexis Visualfiles) in 1996 as Managing Director and gained wide experience of the company's products and procedures.

Since leaving Solicitec Richard has worked as a independent legal IT consultant to over two dozen law firms providing consultancy on Solcase, Visualfiles, Word, Excel & Access with VB and VBA macros.

In 1999 Richard formed Briefclick Solutions Limited which provides websites and website integration. A particular speciality is integrating Solcase with a range of service providers to receive instructions directly into Solcase and automatically update third party websites.

To date Richard has successfully integrated Solcase with Simply Conveyancing, STARS (LMS), XIT2 (Spicerhaart, CAL and C&G PLC), Synapse, CaseTrackerPlus (independent Solutions), YourMove and London & European Title.

Richard is based in the West Mildlands.
